.... This large-format book features 286 pages with over 300 images. Richard’s range of subject matter includes early paintings, friends, fellow chess players, neighbors, musicians, nudes, and people in landscapes and interiors. He also shares paintings from demonstrations he conducted for artists and students he mentored. Richard even included his Conté portrait of his beloved German shepherd, Hans! We are now in the design stage to bring his book to life. Following Richard’s tradition of excellence, we are making sure of the color quality and clarity of each image throughout the book. Some of the paintings featured in this book date as far back as the 1950s. Restoration of these images to reflect the quality of the original paintings takes time and expertise. Like THE LANDSCAPES and MY STILL LIFE ART, Richard shares the story of his life and art with his portrait and figure paintings. It continues to be our honor to share his life’s passion with you.
