Langnickel Brushes
1-800-247-2211

For my  bristle brushes I use Robert Simmons™ #42 signet filberts, DaVinci Flats, and Langnickel™ Flats (never Brights)—only in sizes 8 and larger.

The Langnickel Sable brushes are my all-time favorite painting tools (along with my Italian palette knives). I would be lost without them. Langnickel 5590 series brushes are splendid for precision painting and are perfect for achieving delicate effects, subtle edges and reduce glare caused by coarser bristle brushes. Longer softer hairs of the 5590 series hold oil paint well. They are not as tough as hog bristle brushes, so never allow paint to dry on them, and please wash them gently after each use.

I also use Windsor & Newton™ Series 7 watercolor brushes, size 0 and smaller for extremely delicate oil painting. That's right—a watercolor brush!
